Starting April 6 for the Aged to Perfection Seasoned Romance Writers Chapter of the Romance Writers of America

In this four-week course I help romance writers seize their readers’ imagination — and avoid putting readers to sleep (or worse, putting their books down).

Voice and style are ephemeral things—hard to define and hard to categorize. The course will start with a voice hunt. I’ll take attendees through classic books and authors in order to see how those novels and writers are so distinctive. Attendees will then use that information to discover their own distinctive voices. Every speaking voice is different, replete with cadence, rasps, pacing, breath, intonation, and more. Every novel can be just as unique. I’ll share the information that makes it possible for you be unique and memorable.
