After the insanely busy workshop schedule in 2025, I don’t know if I’m pleased to note I only have four scheduled this year. On February 7, I’ll be presenting a Zoom webinar about how you can create a superheroine for your fiction. It’s sort of like creating a superhero, but different. I’ll be presenting for the Futuristic Fantasy & Paranormal (FFP) online chapter of Romance Writers of America — you can sign up at this link (https://ffprwa.com/product/building-a-superheroine/)!

Next, I’ll be presenting a webinar for the Houston chapter of Editorial Freelancers Association on April 1 (no, not an April Fool’s joke — I think) on the topic of “Indie Author and You.” I gave this twice last year, and I was told by audience members that it helped them thinking of their clients.

In May 4-29, I’ll be giving individual lessons via email about how to avoid the awkward info dump in your fiction. Are you worried about info dumps in your work? I’m giving it for the FFP (the link’s not up yet), so give it a thought. And finally, again for the FFP:

On July 11 I’m giving a webinar for FFP on the topic of the “Indie Editor and You,” on the kinds of editors, and what you should know about them. I think you’ll find it insightful. You’re going to have to wait for the link, but it’s going to be coming soon.

Make 2026 the year of workshops!
